Our dentists are Jon, Erica and Kathryn. You can find out more about them below... Jon Janson Jon is the Principal Dentist at Halton House. He qualified in 1997 from Bristol University and completed a further 3 year diploma specialising in Sedation, Oral Surgery and Prosthetics (dentures) in 2006. He constantly seeks to improve the services available at the practice by keeping up to date with new techniques and materials and attending the latest training courses. Jon has a welcoming and informal chair-side manner and hopes that patients will find the dental experience to be as comfortable and relaxing as possible. He aims to treat every person as an individual and believes patient choice is a vital part of the service. His special interests include “pain-free” dentistry and tooth coloured restorations. He has also just completed his sedation training and soon hopes to be able to offer this as a service at Halton House. Outside of dentistry, Jon enjoys snooker, hill-walking, going to the gym and learning to play the guitar. Erica Budding Erica is one of our Associate Dentists at Halton House. Since qualifying from Bristol University in 2005, Erica has been practising dentistry in the Bristol area. Before taking up the role at Halton House, she took a 6 month career break to travel the world with her partner. Erica has an informal and open chair-side manner and provides dental treatment in a relaxed environment. Outside of dentistry her interests are skiing, tennis and horse riding. Kathryn Lang
Kathryn qualified from Glasgow University in 2008 and has since worked in the hospital and community dental services as well as general practice in Scotland. In 2010 she gained her membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and the variety that working in general practice brings. Kathryn recently moved to the area to begin married life with her new husband. She is looking forward to exploring this part of the county as she enjoys going for long walks and seeing new places. |
